Dr. Azar is the newest addition to Desert On Call Medical Group. She developed an interest in house calls during her fellowship training in Geriatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University - The Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Azar enjoys the opportunity to provide the finest medical care in the comfort of your home. She has a particular interest in the unique health challenges faced by the elderly.
Dr. Azar received her MD from the University of Rome Italy, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was trained in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, and fellowship trained in Geriatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University - The Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Azar is board certified in both Geriatrics and Internal Medicine.
